checkPCO
<static> Object checkPCO(text)
5250 PCO.EXE call handler ("RPC from 5250 to client").
This call consistst of the following parts in the 5250 host screen data:
- screen starts at pos=0: hex =
a0
or b7
.
this is the host field attribute, mapped as host NUL char
- PCO header: starts at pos=1, len=11, hex =
Ø ] P C O 20 c Ø ß Ø Ø
hex: d8 5d 50 43 4f 20 63 d8 df d8 d8
first 2 bytes are introducers: hex = d8 5d
next 4 bytes denote PCO.EXE: ascii=PCO
next 5 bytes are trailers: hex = 63 d8 df d8 d8
,
where the last byte indicates
"wait for process to finish" (ascii value of \xd8) or
"do not wait: (else).
- PCO params: a PC command line.
start at pos=11, SPACE separated text,
terminated by host NUL char hex = a0
or b7
.
- Special PCO header: hex =
a0 ] P C O 20 c Ø b a0 a0..
The handler checks for this data structure.
If found, it parses the PCO call, and calls lwh.pco for handling the command.
Returns:
false indicates "standard screen (no PCO command); else indicates "skip this PCO screen": we have processed the PCO command, and have issued a suitable host response (usually a lwk.send("<ENTER>")
